So that an individual can now make video calls with their friends and family with the Facebook owned instant messaging app. The WhatsApp has been released the updates to the app several times over the past few weeks. With these updates, there are many various new features have come in the Mobile phone, which are very much useful. To deal with the fake news and the street information, the WhatsApp has now reduced the limit of forwarding any message.
And the company says that with this new limit, the number of messages forwarded on the WhatsApp worldwide has been decreased by 70 percent.
In the earlier, the message could be forwarded to 5 users and now this limit has been reduced to the 1 only.
2) WhatsApp Group Call Limit Has Been Increased
So now an individual can add up to 8 users to a group audio or video call on the WhatsApp. In the first group calls only 4 members could be added on WhatsApp. But now WhatsApp has doubled the number of users.
3) Call Waiting Support
Now if an individual are talking on a call, then they can still get a call on WhatsApp. Earlier, the users did not have the option to accept the calls. Even when talking on the phone, users are unable to know whose phone is coming.
4) WhatsApp Locking Feature
This feature of WhatsApp was in the great demand. Recently, the WhatsApp has released the WhatsApp authentication system in the Android and iOS apps. With this, the users can keep their chats secure.
So the Users can go to Settings> Account> Privacy> Fingerprint Lock and secure their WhatsApp chat.
5) New Group Privacy Settings
With the new settings, the users can now control who will add them to the WhatsApp group.
Users get the option 'None, My Contacts' and 'Except My Contacts' for this in the Settings menu on the WhatsApp .
